Our promise
We run a company that rents a frozen drink machine, and two of the three people who run it are children. So it is worth writing down exactly how that works, before anybody has to ask.
That is genuinely all it is when it leaves our house.
We mix it, we load it, we deliver it, we set it up, and we go home. It contains fruit mix and nothing else. If grown-ups want to add tequila to it at their own party, they buy it themselves and add it after we have gone. We do not buy alcohol, we do not pour it, we do not serve it, and we are not there for it.
Nobody under 18 is at an event once there is alcohol in a tank. Finley and Harper set up in the daytime and leave. Their dad handles anything in the evening, on his own.
Not a sponsorship, not a partnership, not a free case of anything. This is a company with an 8-year-old in it.
No festivals, no ticketed events, no unsupervised machines in public. Private parties only, where one person is hosting and responsible.
The girls develop the mix. That is their work and their recipe. The tequila part is a line on a card handed to an adult at setup, and it stays there.
$250 is $250 in August and $250 in February.
Harper is 11 and Finley is 8. They own the company, pick the flavors, match the candy to each one, do the setups and answer the messages. Their mum runs the accounts you see them on — those are hers, not theirs. Their dad drives, because they cannot.
Either of them can ask for anything with them in it to come down — a photo, a video, a page — at any time, without giving a reason, and it comes down. That is a rule in this family, not a policy we wrote for a website.
If any of this ever stops being true, this page changes. It is easier to keep a promise you have written down.
