If you want to write about us or put us on TV, here is the stuff you would probably ask for, all in one place. Anything missing, just email hello@slushsisters.com — a grown-up answers the same day.

The question everyone asks first: yes, they are really 11 and 8, and yes it is a real company. Their dad drives because they cannot, and their mom runs the accounts because you have to be a grown-up to. The flavors, the recipes, the setups and the candy are all theirs.

The bio, ready to take

One line

Slush Sisters is a frozen drink machine rental company in Lakeway, Texas, run by two sisters — Harper, 11, and Finley, 8.

One paragraph

Slush Sisters is a frozen drink machine rental company in Lakeway, Texas, run by sisters Harper (11) and Finley (8). They rent a two-tank machine for parties at $250, and they are glad to make either tank with no alcohol in it at no extra cost, so grown-ups and kids are both taken care of at the same party. What makes them different is the piece of candy matching the flavor on the rim of every cup. Slush Sisters LLC is a registered Texas business.

The longer version

Slush Sisters is a frozen drink machine rental company in Lakeway, Texas, run by two sisters — Harper, 11, and Finley, 8. They rent one two-tank machine for parties across the Lake Travis area at $250, everything included, and they come back the next morning to clean it themselves.

What makes it unusual is not the machine. It is that they treat it like a science problem. They measure the sugar in every batch with a refractometer, because sugar is what stops a slush freezing solid, and they publish the numbers and the failed experiments on their own website. They have written down seven rules they can be caught breaking, each one with a line saying what it costs them to keep.

They also published a rule about alcohol before anybody asked them to: they make the frozen mix, which has none in it, and a grown-up adds their own spirits after the girls have left.

Two things we are not going to pretend about. They have one machine, so they can only do one party at a time. And the premium recipe — fresh limes and agave instead of syrup — is new, and the page for it says exactly what has and has not been tested.

What they can actually talk about

These are the ones where an 11-year-old and an 8-year-old will give you a real answer rather than a rehearsed one.

Photo metadata is stripped before anything goes up here, including GPS. These were taken at home and location data on pictures of children is not something to publish by accident. If you re-host them, please do not add it back.

One thing, because they are kids

Please leave out their street, their house and the name of their school, and don’t say where they will be before an event happens — after is fine. Everything else is the normal stuff: their dad is around for any interview, and if you want to film at a real party we just have to check with the family first. Email hello@slushsisters.com and we will help.

Coverage

None yet. This page exists so that saying yes to the first one is easy.

When there is coverage it will be listed here, including anything that got a detail wrong, because a page that only lists the flattering ones is not a record.
