Lake Austin is a different lake from Lake Travis — downstream of Mansfield Dam, narrower, and lined with houses rather than marinas. The parties are different too. Where Lake Travis is boats and all-day drifting, Lake Austin tends to be a house with a lawn running down to the water, a smaller and more settled guest list, and an evening that starts earlier.

Margaritas more often than slushies, more evening parties than afternoon ones, and more of the bookings where the machine is one part of something catered rather than the main event. That suits us — we set it up, show whoever is hosting how to top it up, and get out of the way.
The practical constraint on Lake Austin properties is almost always the walk. A lot of these houses have the entertaining space well below the driveway, down steps or a slope to the water. Slush Sisters is run by two sisters, Finley and Harper, ages 10 and 8, with their dad driving the van. They pick the flavors, match the candy to each one, and handle the setup. It is a real business and they run it.
No — they are different lakes. Lake Austin sits below Mansfield Dam and runs through west Austin past Westlake and Rob Roy. Lake Travis is the larger reservoir above the dam. We serve both, but they are separate areas for us.

No. We rent the machine and bring the mix, already frozen and ready to pour. If you want margaritas you add your own tequila to the tank at setup. Plenty of our rentals stay non-alcoholic for kids’ parties.
The next morning. You keep it for the whole event and overnight, so nobody is cleaning up or watching the clock at the end of the night.
