Westlake · Rob Roy · Davenport
Lake Austin is a different lake from Lake Travis — downstream of Mansfield Dam, narrower, and lined with houses rather than marinas. The parties are different too. Where Lake Travis is boats and all-day drifting, Lake Austin tends to be a house with a lawn running down to the water, a smaller and more settled guest list, and an evening that starts earlier.
Check your dateThis is our most adult-skewed area after Lake Travis. Margaritas more often than slushies, more evening parties than afternoon ones, and more of the bookings where the machine is one part of something catered rather than the main event. That suits us — we set it up, show whoever is hosting how to top it up, and get out of the way.
The practical constraint on Lake Austin properties is almost always the walk. A lot of these houses have the entertaining space well below the driveway, down steps or a slope to the water. The machine is not light and it needs to be carried to where it will sit. It is not a problem, but tell us when you book so we plan for it rather than discovering it on the day.
Power is the other one. Wherever the machine ends up it needs a standard outlet it can stay plugged into for the whole party — not an extension run across a lawn people are walking on.
Yes, we come to Lake Austin — it is a normal part of our route, not a special case. Some Westlake and Barton Creek addresses sit just past our free 15-mile radius, where a $1/mile charge applies. Send us your address and we will give you the exact number before you book, but the answer to do you come out here is simply yes.
This is a route we run regularly. Addresses inside 15 miles of Lakeway have delivery included; a few of the further Westlake and Barton Creek ones sit past that, where a $1/mile charge applies. Tell us the address and we will confirm the exact figure up front.
If your neighborhood is not listed, ask anyway — this is not an exhaustive list, just the places we end up most often.
$50 deposit holds your date and comes off the $250.
It does cold drinks too. The same machine will chill a drink instead of freezing it, so it works in December as well as July. How that works.
Sixteen classic flavors + nine Fresh Press (real fruit, no dye). See them all
Slush Sisters is run by two sisters, Harper and Finley, ages 11 and 8, with their dad driving the truck. They pick the flavors, match the candy to each one, and handle the setup. It is a real business and they run it.
No — they are different lakes. Lake Austin sits below Mansfield Dam and runs through west Austin past Westlake and Rob Roy. Lake Travis is the larger reservoir above the dam. We serve both, but they are separate areas for us.
Yes, but tell us in advance. A lot of Lake Austin properties have the entertaining area well below the driveway, and we would rather plan for the carry than turn up unprepared.
The dual-tank machine, two flavors, delivery, setup, cups, a candy garnish on every cup, and pickup the next morning. If there is a walk down to the water, that walk is included — we do the carrying. A $50 deposit holds your date and comes off the total.
No. We bring the mix frozen and ready to pour, and there is never anything else in it when it leaves us. A grown-up adds their own tequila after we have gone, using the printed instructions. Down on the water in the sun, going heavy on it is the fastest way to end up with a cold drink instead of a frozen one.
The next morning. The carry back up is ours to do, and it is easier in daylight, so we leave it with you overnight rather than hauling it out at the end of the night.
Tell us the date and your address in Lake Austin, and we will get back to you the same day.
